I saw that- and welcomed it. I’d hope for Indy Scotland, but have lived with the fact Scotland voted otherwise in 2014. But I still can’t get my head around a specifically England& Wales Party being able to supply the PM of the UK. By definition, Scots can’t vote for ZP. Weird - and unfair.
It is unusual for folk beyond Scotland to realise that the two Green parties are separate in the way that, for instance, Scottish Labour is not. Yet if Greens of England and Wales get enough votes in England and Wales, ZP becomes PM of UK, ….including Scotland . Hmmm
I love it too…. But if ZP was to become PM, he’d be a UK PM. It’s that kind of anomaly that gets my hump up. And ‘the NE’ is used everywhere ( except Scotland) to exclude us. Annoyed my Lancashire Gran no end, too. 😂 So, grumpy explanations over, come up beyond the wall for a dram!
THE North East? Or the English North East?As someone who lives in Scotland ( think Game of Thrones and ‘behind the Wall’) this terminology is utterly ludicrous. If you’re talking UK politics, make sure you include the other 3 parts of the UK.
HIS vision for something he shared with no one prior to election( other than, perhaps, his donors). Bring your vision to the polls, Starmer- put it to the test.
I have listened carefully to his interviews- his party are dismissed entirely from my thinking. And that’s before you come to two leaders, both alike in dignity who from fairly fresh grudge have already broken to mutiny. (Sorry, WS)
She clearly hasn’t listened to what either of her new Leading Lights have been saying. Corbyn is at best on the fence trying hard not to say his stated Unionist view and his sidekick has been burning Scottish bridges galore.
Nonsense. I could list the virtues- though being the only vehicle that got me to daily cancer treatment 40 miles from home when not even snow ploughs tried to access my area for 5 weeks is enough for me.
No. As someone older, taller, with increasingly worse arthritis in my hips , I find them by far the easiest car to drive and to use as passenger. OH in similar position. Not all SUVs are gas guzzlers and where I live they have proven essential to getting out safely in the winter.
My second vote is currently upfor grabs. If Greens are Indy, they have it. If they are prepared to support the Union ( Your Party are very clear they are), then they are irrelevant. They lost my trust when they were so miffed they were prepared to vote v SNP. Now 3 councillors defect🤷🏻‍♀️
Also need to convince the Greens that many of the votes that have let them near power came from Indy supporters. If that position is negotiable, many votes are NOT.
Genuine concern after today- defect to another Unionist party?
They have stolen votes and their presence in chamber is morally indefensible. Cheaters.
Go back to the polls and earn your place. You have stolen votes Ellie Gometsall.

In light of Labour's Ed Milliband stating he would invite nuke companies to Scotland if Labour win in GE2026, it's worth remembering that planning for nuclear dumping was one of the powers stripped from Scotland by Westminster's Powergrab. Where do *you* think they'll want to put it?
Fascism ok , apparently, for the Pakistan but not Scotland independence supporter. For ‘case by case’ read ‘anti SNP’.
If aliens are heading TO Earth in this monstrous time in our history, at least we don’t need to worry about their superior intelligence.
And that ‘one’ was ‘obvs’. Is it a secret plot, incompetence or newly grown long nails, I wonder? Sorry.
Descent, one. Thank you auto correct. Quite like dissent , however😂
I watched the party announce itself with interest; watched the immediate dissent into squabbling; read all the talk of ‘the nation’ and listened to Corbyn’s speciality fence sitting when asked testing questions; finally hear their ill- informed comments on Scotland. They’re now parked beside Reform.
He ‘can’t express it’ because it’s hard to separate from the stuff that he’s said…
SNP Government is elected by Scots. So it’s really ‘Labour intent to show disdain for democratic wishes of the Scots whilst destroying their country. Again!’
Does he think that’s a vote winner?
A small change and it’s a unicorn. Just saying!
