Thanks! He’s so close to ditching the satellite dish and that’s good because he loves to scamper head first between my legs to demand butt scritches and he’s showing no mercy while in cone mode and I’m paying for it lol.

Again, apologies for the weak update yesterday. Overall this was much better news than we were expecting going into the biopsy so I didn't want to paint this as an immediate bummer. I appreciate all the kind responses yesterday but thought it was best to delete and retry today when I wasn't as busy.

The surgeon offered an oncology consult but based on conversations with her and our regular vets we all agreed this wasn't the best thing for him based on multiple factors. For now he's fine and just itching to ditch the cone and get back to doing his thing. Once he heals, it's back to normal. 3/4

They removed another mast cell tumor (like the one on his leg from a few months ago). The surgeon thinks they got it all and while they couldn't grade it directly, based on the other numbers they considered it low. We are to monitor both sites for regrowth and watch for any new tumors. 2/4

ok, going to try a Hobbes update again. I tried yesterday and did not do a good job because I was busy cleaning the shop. At first I painted too rosy of a picture then trying to correct that made it sound like impending doom so here's the scoop: 1/4

Adding some information: the surgeon offered a consultation with an Oncologist but after discussion with her as well our local vets we all agreed it wasn’t the best thing for him so we just keep on keeping on. Apologies for not being clear in the original post.
