Does anyone believe the government will reopen? The House is effectively gone and the presidential power is unchecked. With this renovation the WH, a house belonging to us, the people, is a presidential palace. These mass firings are because there is no need for a government of the people.

Interesting tidbit by HCR in that general strikes haven’t typically worked in this country’s history and often cause more harm than benefit. However, targeted boycotts work extremely well - which many saw recently with Disney+. Something to consider.
