Just a reminder that F#ck 'Em Up is out there and it's free.

Feel like striking a blow against the status quo and purveyors of brutality with your crew? Time to burn it all down and salt the ashes.

Benito is a threat b/c he makes art so alluring and enjoyable you want to understand everything about it and then you end up learning about sugar and slavery and colonialism and the Taínos and Hawaii and then you probably have some thoughts of your own, and that's why art is powerful and dangerous

Okay, so my daughters (now 17 and 19) want to restart our regular D&D games from the pre-COVID era.

They used to come down and join my group for the first hour or so--when there would ALWAYS be a fight. My crew were so awesome making them feel welcome and valuable.

Excitement!

SHE’S FINISHED! My 5-foot-long Enterprise D oil painting is complete after nearly 100 hours of work!

I remember being 13 years old or so and trying to draw her and it was so hard, and all I wanted was to be able to do something like this. Truly a dream come true. 🥰🖖

Your point reminds me of a very astute Twitter thread about shame, by David Rees (of Get Your War On fame), from early in Trump's first term. It's hard to find now, so I'm going to post the whole thing here.

I do want to shout-out my fellow sociologists, who have collectively created a discipline so woke that not a single one of our introductory textbooks can make it past Florida's censors.

Great work everyone.

So, I have a lot of ideas for further adventure modules (we still calling 'em that?) for F#ck 'Em Up. So many things I want to rail against, and this is what I have built to allow me to do that.

But so much of it leads me to wonder if I am the one who should be writing about it.

Contacted the 19- and 20-year-old partners so we can start the group project for my uni Korean Class.

I am the oldest person in the class by more than double the years of the second oldest person.

I am the same age as the prof, of which she reminds the other students constantly.

Cool. ;)

Rose DeLauro will be 83 next month. Like many other older electeds who no longer seem to be able to understand what this moment calls for from them, she needs to retire and let someone else represent this district.
“I would rather you vote for what is morally correct,” Davidson said.

“Don’t talk to me about my own morality,” DeLauro shot back.

“Don’t tell your constituents what they can and can’t talk to you about,” replied Rev. Nathan Empsall. “What you are voting for is not moral.”
