Our pretend facts are just as good as the real thing. If not better.
Time magazine quotes Canadian satirical website The Beaverton
A recent Time magazine article used a quote from Canadian satire site, the Beaverton, as a fact in reference to U.S. relationships with other countries.

Just finished the scenario for the game I'll run at the work Xmas party: Harshwood. It's a Western heavily inspired by "Silverado" using F#ck 'Em Up, where the PCs face the interests of big business (ranchers) and monopolists (railroad barons). Time to beat the crap out of union-busting Pinkertons!

I really appreciate that @pbsnews.org ended the interview with this graphic.

It captures, in the simplest and starkest terms, the brutal arithmetic driving this country's homelessness catastrophe.

"I'm canceled," he says in the sleek profile they gave to him in the New Yorker while his latest special & his new novel is coming out. A lot of people wish they were that canceled.
Louis CK is not in a limbo of cancellation. He's straight up not cancelled & his "cancellation" became a profitable bit for him.

Years ago, my colleagues at Business Insider and I tracked YouTuber “cancellation” arcs. What we found is that for many entertainers, “cancellation” actually sets the stage for a redemption arc, one that can raise their profile higher than ever. It wasn’t career-ending. It was fuel.

What's the best place to buy tunes by The Untouchables--the ska/mod-revival band from LA? I want to get as much money from my purchases going to the artist as possible, and that usually seems like Bandcamp.

Let me know if that's wrong.

What do these corporations have in common?

Netflix
Ford
Tesla
T-Mobile
Duke Energy
DISH Network
Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.
