One of the many things worth thinking about re: Steam's ban on Horses is how it highlights is the centralization problem caused by having such a monolithic (and maybe mono-something-else) retail giant.

the HORSES affair is a startlingly low bar to cross to see if people actually care about protecting games from censorship of upsetting themes because it's far tamer and has way more moral clarity than a lot of stuff that doesn't get banned. but it's also very clarifying to see who can't cross it

Played through the demo today and definitely gonna give this a shot when it comes out. It's kind of unlike any game I've played before. Love how the combat is essentially purely a positioning challenge and I'm curious how the story, world and dungeon structure come together in the end.
Two weeks to Angeline Era releasing! Been nervous about the release but very happy that testers are enjoying searching for levels across its overworlds, as well as the bumpslash combat and story!

It's so fun that even if you were somehow completely oblivious to AI it'd still be super easy to notice that all software has somehow gotten more buggy all at the same time
