Exactly! The reality on the ground is that most people are decent, upstanding human beings and they will be selfless and do the right thing. Far from it is the image of an intolerant bunch, us westerners have true heroes amongst us, amazing. Crucial to be reminded of that despite tragedy. 👍

As someone who served in the military & deployed on more operations than I care to mention, this is one of the bravest things I’ve ever seen. How many would have the courage & deliberate thought to overcome fear do this? Unbelievably selfless.

Exactly. This government is sitting in air conditioning in parliament doling out funding for defunct foreign submarines while our CHILDREN are attending run down schools, dealing with stressed parents and have sport events that advertise gambling. We need a shift in priorities. #auspol
