I was thinking of restarting this with 100 more songs, but instead I’m just going to reskeet this list a few times a day in reverse order until getting back to Day 1. Starting now with Day 100.

Our national anthem. With a guitar solo.

Day 100 - FINALE

TV channels used to “turn off” for the night. But not before the anthem played.

In 1992, for Canada’s 125th, stars got together to record a new version.

It’s cheesy, it’s glorious, there are new verses!

And a perfect way to end the series.

Oh Canada

Day 87

Jeff Healey Band

Award winning trio, the house band in a Patrick Swayze movie, and the group that would cover your song better than the original.

This song, written by Tom Petty, is about wondering what could’ve been.

Day 91 - THE FINAL 10 DAYS!

Crash Test Dummies - The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead

Featuring Ellen Reid on lead vocals, this song is about do-gooder being punished and not rewarded for their efforts.

This song also made the Dumb and Dumber soundtrack.

It’s a good tune.

Compare what Democrat legislators are doing compared to the amazing tour de force being shown today by the people of Minneapolis.

In frigid temperatures they showed up. In huge numbers.

It’d be great if those elected stood up with those that elected them.

Good for you, Minneapolis. 👊
Imagine seeing the video of an unarmed mom being murdered in her car, with medical aid being forcibly denied.

Imagine then seeing photos of a crying five year old being detained.

Imagine then thinking “Yeah. That deserves more funding” and voting for it.

Complicit, feckless cowards.

It’s about threats to our sovereignty, the terrorizing of your citizens, the kidnapping of 5yr olds, the murder of suburban moms, and the abject cruelty of your govt. It’s about the complicitness of the opposition and lack of moral character. It’s about threats of detention.

It’s not about money.

Thank you for being here!

This beautiful song, this clever video.

This song was the beginning of my love for Canadian music.

Written by the amazing Bruce Cockburn, covered by the still brand new Barenaked Ladies.

Lovers in a Dangerous Time.

The Prime Minister wrote this speech himself so any blowback would be on him. Leadership.

But for those saying it was a remarkable message to the United States, I disagree. This message might have been *about* the United States, but the speech was to the rest of the world.

And it’s about time.
A YouTube link for those looking for it. No words.
