We are getting the first biggish & multiple fires up our way for the season. A 'make tankers 10' call out plus aircraft. That weird 'here we go' feeling kicks in.

Dan Tehan on RN saying that governments will pay to keep existing ageing coal fired power stations open, as well as doing lots more gas drilling. While claiming 'the market will dictate'. Lots of talk of 'base load', misunderstanding modern energy systems.
