The phenomenon of fake PhD student influencers trying to convince young people they should use AI to do work is reeeeeally fucked up. Don’t know if it’s just an emerging grift category for directly seeded by LLM vendors but it’s really insidious and gross.

The campus security officers asked ICE for a warrant, which they didn’t have of course. They grabbed the student anyway and aimed submachine guns at the students filming. Private property at a private college.
Augsburg emailed faculty and students yesterday to say a student was followed and detained by ICE. Without a warrant, of course.

Even some immigrants think this way and it's like, do you think everyone wants to be treated like a scofflaw here? MAYBE it's the system that's broken and you were just lucky and fortunate to come when you did?
American immigration laws have always had racist and prejudiced policies in them.

I think I was telling my mom last week about this game, that Alabama usually beats Georgia but it could be down to who wants it bad enough and maybe Georgia has that edge because Bama beat them last year.
