Charging EVs more duty is good. It should be double for Teslas, but it's time they paid more of their share for the roads they use.
On that note, why do we still not have a charging system for taxing foreign registered vehicles to use Britain's roads and motorways? Vignettes are surely easy money..

I suspect that the move to add customs duty to any package regardless of value is going to raise less than it costs to administer.. and is not going to help the high street which needs tax relief not penny pinching from peoples' online purchases to help it.

In spite of the massive media love in for Reform, and the social media giants pushing hard right agendas to the fore - we still have a 53% majority for broadly progressive parties (yes, I'm still including Labour in that in spite of the leadership). Give us PR and lock the bad guys out permanently!
