The USSR nor any pure socialist country has been successful. Am I wrong?
But don't get me wrong. Capitalism needs The Rule Of Law, and Democracy, which the Global South (outside Australia and NZ?) has seen little of, and America has mostly lost.

Seems a stretch to hang on Trump whatever happened to shooter's psyche. Afghans have maintained extreme (psych-loco) warrior culture since Alexander, perhaps more recently exacerbated by Soviets, then Taliban, then US, but all before Trump could find Afghanistan on a map. They not like us, maybe?
