also i don't think this is a particularly controversial one but the show does not work with only 8 episodes a season. either the number of episodes needs to be upped or the show needs to start doing serials again.

Most people dismiss Orwell because he was a snitch and a traitor who collaborated with the British government to kill communists and queers.

Did you also know he was a rapist? Probably not because it tends to get talked about like this (from The Orwell Society):

I always interpreted Asa's reaction to Yuko confessing to murder as her being too shocked to react, but given what we learned this chapter, it is entirely possible that she is just numb to murder confessions due to having the confession of her mother in her subconscious for the entire time.

Something that I find interesting is that Asa's choice doesn't matter. Regardless of what she chooses, the outcome is the same. She stresses about whether or not she is a bad person, but she didn't kill her dad, and not tripping wouldn't have saved him either. Perhaps that's why she finds yuko's -

I don’t view this as a reveal that Asa has purposefully tripped all the times she’s been shown to fall. Instead I interpret it as the reason why she has such anxiety over it- her own self doubt causes her to constantly believe that each time she falls she was subconsciously intending to do so.
