I actually used cardboard stencils to recreate these underlighting effects for some of my artworks.
Cut out the stencils, slapped em in front of my PVM, took a photo and composited it in PS. I really need to do these effects again, especially now that I got a access to a plotter

considering the additional limbs, we may conclude that pochita is yet another benificiary of carcinization. in case you needed any reason to like him more
at least pochita is. his head cracks under pressure, it doesn't dent or crumple, which adds to my headcanon that his exterior is some sort of composite of iron, chitin, and calcium carbonate, which makes him feel sorta like a rough metal seashell.

i think popping a dent out of your metal hybrid-head has gotta feel good as fuck. like sneezing real hard and realizing that your sinuses have totally cleared up or popping your back so loud it turns heads. though i think the hybrids are supposed to be made of harder, more rigid metal in canon

after futzing around with the newest chapter of norainu all week, I made the call to scrap it. I'd written ~1k words and about a sixth of that was salvageable, but today I managed to write a thousand before lunch, and it's actually usable! so here's me reminding you, it's okay to start over.

Today I played (or tried to play) REANIMAL. Great game. Genuinely my favorite game of the year so far, disgusting and chilling and exactly what I want out of the genre. Unfortunately, an issue with AMD cards causes a guaranteed crash in a late-game area, so I can't finish it. tarsier fix please

BlueSky is one of the worst platforms I have ever dealt with. Within seconds of creating a second account, after my first one was shut down just two days after it was created, my account was closed again. This happened despite the fact that I hadn’t posted anything or followed anyone. I was only in the process of adding a profile photo, yet I received an email claiming that my account was “spam” and that it was “causing harm.” What kind of logic is this?
The painful truth is that the account was shut down the moment it became clear it was created from inside Gaza. It seems we are no longer allowed to write or speak about what is happening to us here. They are not afraid of content itself, but of our voices and the reality we carry with us.
Millions are spent to silence these voices and to erase the truth. I am exhausted by this platform and by how our photos and videos, which document real suffering, are treated as “violations of community standards,” as if pain itself has become a crime.
What is happening is not simple moderation or policy enforcement. It is an attempt to erase our existence and bury the truth. And honestly, this is shameful and unbearably painful.
