Microplastics made up a majority of the garbage found at America's national parks during an annual waste audit. These pellets and fragments of plastic can lodge permanently in the human body, and have been linked to cancer, heart disease, and other harms.

Very fair point. Just frustrating that something like this would require a special law and time and resources and that all aren’t guaranteed what they need to survive with so many other fires burning.

Not to sound insensitive, but if I’m reading the house bill correctly (I may not be), this impacts about 2,000 babies per year, not all of whom would need government assistance to afford what they need? Are there perhaps better uses of your time/tax payer dollars these days?
