So I just looked up 1996 on Apple Music & I knew pretty much every song regardless of if it was classified as pop, rock, r&b, or alternative. Then I looked up 1997 & I basically only recognized the pop songs which is wild to me

Day two of being approximately one minute away from crashing out at all times all day long but somehow managing to not crash out
Today gave me a new appreciation for the phrase “about to crash out” bc yeah, that is exactly the right term, that’s exactly how I am feeling, A+ expression

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

I'm shaking almost too hard to type. I entered SLC airport and heard screams and cries for help. I could see people gathered around, watching. I sped over to discover this woman face down on the floor, four grown men pushing her down, while she cried "HELP ME" and pled for her child.

I’m reading this book series, & every time I finish one, I cry bc the author died (in 2020)
The first time it happened I thought “oh, that was an unexpected reaction to finishing a silly little vampire book” but I’m on the 9th now & I’m getting used to the idea that I’m just going to cry every time?
