Who could possibly believe it’s ok to cut down a tree like that?

… oh yes… greedy people who legitimize greedy people….
😤

“Wright measured the cedar's diameter at 2.79 metres, a size that should have ensured protection for the tree, along with a one-hectare buffer under provincial law.

But when he returned…the tree had been felled as part of a logging operation approved by the province.”

Why was 'incredible' giant cedar cut down, despite B.C.'s big-tree protection law?
Joshua Wright says a yellow cedar tree he photographed last year was "incredible," the largest he'd ever seen in a decade of hiking around Vancouver Island.

This is a good reminder of the corruption in the Conservative Party and those that vote and support that corruption.

This makes me sad. She was a Nova Scotian icon.
Colleen Jones has died.
One of the greatest curlers in Canadian history, she appeared at the Scotties 21 times, winning six championships. She also won two World Championships. Jones was also a broadcaster on CBC for four decades before she retired.

I still believe that Wab should be fast-tracked to national leadership. Manitoba continues to lead by example. We could use some of that positive energy on the east coast.

Sometimes it takes a chance encounter to make you remember why you fight so hard for this idea called Canada.
Six brave young teens from Afghanistan reminded me of the need to fight the hate that is oozing over the border.
Here is my latest.

Well worth watching - what made Canadians effective, lethal fighters was flexibility (they did whatever task needed to be done) and total focus on the task.

We haven’t changed.

This comment summarizes 🇨🇦 because nice people don’t start fights but also don’t back down:

Wab would definitely be the best choice moving ahead.
I'd rather have Wab, but a blue Liberal banker does still beat a black-souled PP.
