That was one of my first “a-ha” moments, watching that as a kid and realizing the profoundly deep and disturbing effects of racism in media. Also, my first time experiencing DB’s music (I’d seen Labyrinth but never knew what his music was about).

I became a fan for life that day.

Founded by Huey P Newton (RIP) and Bobby Seale, the Black Panther was actually a symbol from the 761st Tank battalion and the Bloody Lowndes Democratic formation.

Oh…I’m considering just flooding the market with my archived shit. I have most of my sets from the past year recorded in full(with vox and breaks) plus I have just the serato portions from the past…several years prior. I only a year or so ago was able to start saving the full raw mix inAudacity.
