I watched the series first run. I watched them in early syndication. I later taped them on VHS. When I got a TV tuner for my desktop in the early 2000s, I demuxed the digital broadcasts I recorded and burned all the episodes to CDs.

"The government has a policy of not trusting government-issued documents." That's absolutely where we are right now but it is so insane that you would be forgiven for not believing it.
A witness in our case had ICE reject all her documents after using facial rec on her.

For her, tho, it seemed like nothing could make them accept that she has a right to be here.

Either way, a gov policy of not trusting gov-issued docs is going to violate lots of people's rights.

Coverage of mamdani (every word endlessly scrutinized, wildly bad faith interpretations of everything he says) vs coverage of trump (sanitizing every quote, ignoring his nonsense or paraphrasing it into what reporters wish he had said) is so instructive as to how in the tank the press is for the GOP
This man? It's possible that he might have come to the Land of the Lost from a completely different universe than Will and Holly, yet the kids call him "Uncle Jack"

This is a real thing that a judge had to say to the Chief of US Customs and Border Protection.

The DOJ seized my newsroom 903 days ago. Mywork as a journalist has come to a standstill both for my freelance work and those outlets for whom I was under assignment.

Today the government announced its appeal of Judge Mizelle's dismissal of my wiretap charges, putting my case on indefinite hold.

The state of Florida is now removing the U.S. citizen arrest category from this dashboard tracking immigration arrests altogether, but we know they mistakenly detain U.S. citizens, as was the case of Juan Carlos Lopez Gomez in Leon County.
