Went to watch the cx races today. It was my first time seeing something like this but it fun.

The supportive nature of the spectators to the newbies and the kids was great to see, as well as the light taunts to the veteran racers.

Officials say the resource aims to support communities that haven’t always felt safe reporting to law enforcement.

There's been a lot of pearl-clutching about public grocery stores!

Which is wild, because we have a LOT of experience with public grocery stores in the US. And the folks it serves (US military & military families) stand by it.

An update from Seattle:

King County's Board of Elections says there are roughly 1,400 ballots left that will be added today. (At that point, we'd be left with the roughly 1,500 'challenged' ballots that can be cured through next week.)

Katie Wilson is up 1,346 votes right now.
Good morning! We have around 1400 accepted ballots to add to the count this afternoon.

Clyde Hill is apparently concerned that large cottages won't be affordable?

I saw a placard for “winter banana” apples at the store a week ago but no apples. Today they had a few and they do in fact have a very slight banana flavor. In a few bites it almost tasted like a hint of melon.
