The biggest anti-Christian bias I've seen is these weirdos looking for anti-Christian bias.

They want to be marginalized so bad.
NEW — RFK Jr.’s HHS sent out a survey asking employees to report instances of anti-Christian bias during the Biden administration, and the Dept. of Labor announced its inaugural prayer service. These are just the latest instances of Trump’s extreme Christian creep within the federal government.

What does it say about this country that that the kind of open, rank bigotry Trump administration officials regularly express towards black immigrants apparently has no social cost because of the number of Americans who quietly agree or don't care.

Since I published, other federal employees have reached out with examples of overt Christianity in the workplace.

Before Thanksgiving, Director of the US Marshals sent out this message to all employees: "Your work is not just a job; it is an opportunity to contribute and to honor God."

This is disgusting, cowardly garbage. Let trans women play tennis. Everyone who entertained 'just asking questions about men in women's sports' should understand that this was never, and is is not, about sports, but pretending it was sure did pave the way to erasing trans people from public life.

I think it’s important to point out it was the elites of the anglophone world who got board and retreated from collective reality into the parallel systems built to accommodate the ultra wealthy due to an ongoing elite panic due to the failure of neoliberalism and traditional conservatism.

If we want fascism to end in America, people like Alex Karp have to go to prison forever and palentir must be destroyed their databases erased, and its tools destroyed.

Anyone in a high level at the company must go to prison as well. This is bare minimum stuff for rebuilding democracy at some point

Make no mistake its damage is enormous and compounding and it’s a terror organization but we are incredibly lucky they are still this incompetent.

America is going to become one of the most openly repressive police states in history before this is over and people with power will continue to downplay it as conspiracy theory or doomerism to point it out. Because the people downplay what is happening are now part of the process of it happening.
When I traveled in China I had to get a letter from my editor confirming that I wasn’t on assignment and wouldn’t be reporting while in the country. I was also advised not to travel with pens or notebooks.

This is what government censorship actually looks like: defunding entire fields, deporting researchers, and quite effectively chilling speech that helps people understand how our information systems are being exploited and calls out powerful people and platforms for their bullshit.
For the last decade, the pervasive spread of bullshit & manipulation of online platforms have been widely recognized societal concerns. Now non US citizens studying those subjects can be labeled “censors” & denied visas or deported from the US. Censorship, indeed. www.reuters.com/world/us/tru...
