It was doing a really bad job at reliably finding the bottles in pictures of screens so I slopped on resizable boxes and color merging / rock editing. It's much better at actual screenshots

I had the honor of getting a bunch of shit off of clearcase and onto git. Even with virtually unlimited resources it is slow as fuck. Our QA lead maintained a ruby toolkit that did nothing but unfuck the various ways it would mangle things. AFAIK it was only chosen for the SBOM ability

I don't think we've done a good enough job of conveying just how bad source control was before git became common. They were so problematic and deeply entrenched that converting everything over to git was a months long process, running both in parallel for a time until you were certain it was okay.
