It's bad, folks. You have a lot of different issues lumped together as "diseases", weird language about how kids are not healthy enough for military service, pre-conclusions about medications, & the implication that more diagnosis of something = conspiracy. No, just awareness & changing criteria.

I’ve been listening to a lot of BBC radio adaptations of books, because the ebooks have holds and Libby has the adaptations just waiting. Still planning to read the books myself, of course, I do tend to prefer taking in adaptations before the source material.
