I leveraged Substance 3D Designer's Spline nodes to get the edge details. It was one of the more complex parts of the generator. Thankfully, this was built just after the update and release of the node set, and I immediately started thinking of potential applications.

Updates on the interrior cubemaps, figured out a nice way to mask out random windows with diffrent texture varriations and now gotta set up a mix of new interrior cubemaps and make some tweaks to the overall node tree, abit of a struggle but happy with the results so far!

I wanted to offer plenty of options for both realistic and stylized styles, while using realistic forms as a base. Thankfully, I was able to learn a bit about leaves!
Once I can make some time, I'd like to start this project over with the plethora of skills I've learned since.

This was a WIP from a Leaf Generator I was making in Substance 3D Designer in 2023.
I set it aside to focus on more pressing projects at the time (this was during the period following my layoff).
Some of what I learned while working on this helped when I developed my concrete generator last year.

Its not even going to be visible in game once I size it down, I just really enjoy doing it.

This film, it's gorgeous environments, and interesting characters not being included in Kingdom Hearts to some substantial degree will never not be a disappointment. The same goes for Atlantis.
Treasure Planet was released 23 years ago today... and literally takes us off in this magnificent shot. ✨
