This is going to be heresy for a lot of folks, but Knack on the PS4. No amount of “Knack Souls” coping can save the game from its BS dodging mechanics based on existing momentum, the ludicrous amount of damage dealt by enemies, and its long, tedious storyline… oh, and its long, ver. 1.0 load times!
- Finally, if you haven’t heard the OST video I posted yet, complete the game, and wait for a couple of minutes on the dedication screen. You’ll hear the first half of something done to commemorate that person.

Seriously though, I still find it weird it’s not standard on macOS where Windows and Linux just hand it over - part of why I’m shifting to a Linux box for coding instead of a Windows VM

I keep learning cursed things about RPG speedrunners - first that a valid strat for at least one Famicom RPG is to physically remove the cart and insert Dr. Mario with the console still on, reset, then swap back and reset... and now this lmfao
Making the final few room images for my next build of the game took longer than I'd like to admit, but it's done! Now, uh... for a few more incidental minigame images and then it'll be ready to go live! #SoloDev #IndieDev
Lovely, after I sorted out the Procreate update mess, now I'm having to look for alternatives for Affinity's apps because it's looking highly likely they're taking away my buy once licenses and make no mention of their new app or pricing, meaning it's probably a subscription now. fml

BUT, I have been working on refining the visuals for my rooms - as much as my current style “works”, I do wish I had a proper room render to rotoscope off of - the proportions here are way off 🤣

Final Sword was an experience
What a way to end the week - implemented (a very basic form of) New Game+, Swapped out the old panel for my new, multi-purpose main menu, and even got a limited version of my extras menu ready for mid-game access!

Honestly, I'm feeling proud, heh...
