I've become skeptic when it comes to secondhand opinions on fictional media, especially with the current rise of puritanism in fandom.
You gotta ask yourself when someone says a piece of fiction is bad, is it actually bad or was the person who said that judging based on their subjective tastes?

Next to queer novels and queer poetry, queer comics , as a visual form, open up a world of reflection, discovery, (self-)acceptance I wouldn't have known otherwise.
Also look up the mentioned artists, I follow half of them and I love them so much!!!
