I really did not like the maze sections, and the fact that the final boss had 4 mandatory ones really sucked out the fun I was having with this game.
I loved everything else because I'm a massive Xevious nerd and I loved the expanded lore around Planet Xevious and all that jazz.

I know it's looking rough, but remember! Warlocks are allowed, acknowledged to be about in the city, and fel use isn't outlawed. If anyone wants to give trouble, you've got that lore on your side. And if all else fails, use Curse of Doom on them.

For me it was 1984, when the book on the left was released with much of the same content and artwork of the book on the right (released in 1980). What a ripoff.

For me, it feels like I have to suspend my belief way more than I should to accept all this supposed facts presented are true (or leads to some coherent lore) and make the story make sense, when the protag just so happens to pick them up along her journey.
But maybe it's just my petpeeve. 🤷

The Rising is very specifically linked with Akigane's lore because it’s on his birthday and means A Lot to him personally, but the other events vary in how canon they are.
#WOLQOTD with the Halloween event I’m curious to know, do you count the seasonal events as part of your WOL lore or rather something that you do just for the rewards?

I'm fully on board with the crossover stuff as far as lore is concerned, seeing as the msq does far wackier things with interdimensional travel.
But an idea I do have for you, considering the crossovers probably take place at different times, is maybe Layla can use the Azem crystal to call on them
