My BFF is a disabled mom of 3 reliant on SNAP and Medicare. She has been on the struggle bus for awhile. This week all she could afford to buy for her family was eggs and a loaf of bread.
How does this make America great?

I am putting off looking cause I am so scared to know how much our premiums will cost us now.
We are currently paying $242. For a family of 3. Our tax credit is/was $1529.
I am scared to death for so many of us.

Multiple days of hurricane force winds and potentially catastrophic and life threatening flooding is expected for portions of the Caribbean beginning tonight. Head to hurricanes.gov for the latest.

2. Haiti: Catastrophic and life-threatening flash flooding and
landslides are expected across southwestern Haiti into early next
week, likely causing extensive infrastructural damage and
potentially prolonged isolation of communities. Strong winds could
also potentially last for a day or more over the Tiburon peninsula.

3. Dominican Republic: Heavy rainfall could produce catastrophic
flash flooding and numerous landslides in southern portions of the
country.

4. Eastern Cuba, Southeast Bahamas, and the Turks and Caicos:
Monitor Melissa closely. There is an increasing risk of a
significant storm surge, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall by the
middle of next week. In eastern Cuba, the risk of life-threatening
flash flooding and landslides is increasing. A Hurricane Watch is
now in effect for portions of eastern Cuba.

My hubs is also fighting lung cancer and we have insurance through the marketplace, as well as being small business owners. If our premiums peak we are fucked like a great many others. My empathy is big enough for our family and those that will be forced to go without.

I think a nationwide refusal
to pay our taxes would send a big loud message. Fucking billionaires don’t pay their fair share why the fuck should we? And can all be arrested and throw in debtors jail at once?!? 🧐

My husband and I have made a decent amount of money on our stocks this year but this is no consolation as the market is not the economy and we have friends that will be starving when their benefits are cut. I care more about other struggles and worries than I do about my investments.

The reason Trump illegally used an anonymous billionaire to pay soldiers during the Epstein Shutdown is because he's going to need troops for the Insurrection Act and martial law.
