Just saw an older guy in the hospital cafeteria with a "I'm a boomer, we're the badass generation before you PUSSIES were born" (and a matching hat) and honestly it didn't even make me mad. It made me so unfathomably sad. Wow. What an absolutely miserable existence it takes to wake up & put that on.

the surgical unit ICU at my hospital has the most BEAUTIFUL quilt hanging on the wall that a patient's family made for the team there. I get choked up every time I see it. it really reminds me of what healthcare is all about at its core.

doctor messaged me saying that my lifesaving Crohn's medication prior auth had been approved by my insurance. I call the specialty pharmacy to see when I get my next two doses and they told me a prior authorization was never even sent in. Cool 👍🏼
