Just the worst timing for this for Walker.

Seattle's OC finally seemed ready to give him the 1A workload over Charbonnet
⚠️⚠️⚠️ INJURY NEWS ⚠️⚠️⚠️

Kenneth Walker (glute) is QUESTIONABLE for Week 12.

Tory Horton (shin) is OUT for Week 12.

FS1 just had a breaking "Upset Alert" go across their bottom line because #4 Arizona beat #3 UConn. Are we really calling that an upset?

Also, that Arizona-UConn game aired on FS1. I don't need a 'breaking news' style update about a game I just watched on your network

This makes me happy.

Hopefully Shota is better in 2026 than he was down the stretch in 2025, but I'm glad he gets a chance to end his time with the Cubs on a higher note.
LHP Shota Imanaga accepts the qualifying offer and will return to the Cubs per multiple reports, including MLB's @Feinsand.

I absolutely love that the judge who wrote this opinion started it with a quote from the current Chief Justice - daring him to overturn a decision that uses his own words.
"But when the Trump Administration reframed its request as a demand to redistrict congressional seats based on their racial makeup, Texas lawmakers immediately jumped on board."

Donald Trump cares about two kinds of people - those who give him money, and those who say nice things about him.

If you do both, he'll let you literally get away with murder.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Maybe my brain is warped from watching too much SVU in my life, but the more details come out about Nuzzi, the more likely it seems to me that she was abused by older men when she was a child/teen and it's part of why she's drawn to these men that are 30+ years older than her.
Time for the Nardwuar/Nuzzi interview.

Love it when the refs take the game out of the players' hands.

What a trash call to seal this game for Philly.

To be clear here - Flynn was guilty of the crime he was accused of. He was going to plead guilty until trump waved his presidential wand and made the charges go away

Now Trump's DOJ is going to give Flynn millions in taxpayer money for the inconvenience of being rightfully prosecuted for his crimes
The settlement talks between the Trump administration and Michael Flynn and Stefan Passantino marked a change in position by DOJ, which previously had successfully argued in court to have both of their lawsuits tossed out

The Justice Department has been discussing settlements with two former officials from Donald Trump’s first term who — like the president — claim they’re owed major payouts from the US government as vi...

I was not familiar with 'Designing Women's game.

This is how every Dem politician should be talking to and about their Republican counterparts.

It's wild how relevant this speech from a TV episode that aired in 1988 still is today.

Literally every single county in Virginia voted more blue this year than they did in 2024.

Dems flipped GOP-controlled commissioner seats in Georgia blue.

Mikie Sherrill won in NJ by double the margin Kamala Harris did last year.

It'll get worse for the GOP if they don't read into these results
Mike Johnson: "What happened last night is blue states and blue cities voted blue. We all saw that coming. And no one should read too much into last night's election results."

Many years ago, I worked as a cashier in a Meijer grocery store. The only time we had to check ID for anything was if someone was buying an age restricted product (usually alcohol), or they were paying with a check, or if they had written 'please check ID' on the back of their credit/debit card.
Trump: "It's time for Republicans to do what they have to do and that's terminate the filibuster ... we should start tonight with 'the country's open, congratulations,' then we should pass voted ID, we should pass no mail in voting ... you go to a grocery store, you have to give ID."

IMO, this move is a much worse look for the Cubs' front office than declining the Shota option.

The Cubs should be players in a solid SP FA market. They already had 5-6 guys on the roster who belong in a rotation. Letting Shota walk to replace him with a FA upgrade isn't the end of the world.
The Cubs have traded reliever Andrew Kittredge to the Orioles for cash considerations.

Kittredge, who the Cubs acquired from Baltimore at the trade deadline, had a $9 million club option for 2026.

Seeing Breece Hall stay a Jet tells me the NFL needs to look at changing their free agent comp pick rules to be more like MLB.

The Jets kept Hall because they know if he walks after the season, they'll get a comp pick for losing him, and other teams weren't offering more than the value of that pick

Kyler Murray's dead cap hit if Cards choose to cut him this offseason - $57.7M, but they can split that over 2 seasons if they designate him a post-June 1st cut

It'd be the 2nd-highest dead cap hit ever, behind Russell Wilson's $85M when Denver cut him.

It's staggering how many things someone who is two deaths away from being the President doesn't know.
Raju: Last week, you were very critical of Biden, you said he didn’t even know who was pardoning. On 60 minutes, Trump admitted not knowing he pardoned a crypto billionaire guilty of money laundering. Is that also concerning?

Johnson: I don’t know anything about it.
