Focus should be:

1. The design brief provided to the OPW for the design of this new Garda station. What requirements were included for short-term parking?

2. A wider culture of pavement parking by Gardaí. A senior management issue.

3. Only then, individual Gardaí trying their best in a tough job.

He should be aware of his own personal safety and take steps to be as safe as possible at all times.

A Garda van almost completely blocks a footpath outside the Garda station at St Kevin Street.

A 3 old on a balance bike squeezes through the gap. Someone in a wheelchair or a parent with a pram certainly couldn't.

Fair point. Appreciate the explanation Shane. Preview is a useful little utility. It lets you open all kinds of documents, including word docs, and PDFs, mark them up in all kinds of ways, work on photos too.

I've never had a Mac and AFAIK about 2/3rds of iPhone owners have never owned a Mac.

So I've no idea what all the "normal preview things" are and I'd say there's a lot like me. Which is why it has felt very unApple-like to me.

Apple added both these apps to home screens in iOS 26. Games is clear enough, but after opening the Preview app a couple times I still have absolutely no idea what it does.

I'm stunned at the lack of affordance from Apple here.
