It’s important to note from a military perspective that if a subordinate is about to give an unlawful order & his senior knows about it, it’s also a requirement for the senior official to stop him from executing it. And then counsel/discipline him.

The arguments in the case havr just concluded. Unfortunately the appellate courtroom was a deadzone and I wasn't able to provide live coverage, but I'll have a summary of the arguments later this afternoon.

Without read the article yet, I bet somewhere in it is about forcing people to sit still in a stiff metal school chair for 6 hours is perfect for focus and learning.
