Perpetual resets are a curse for all mainstream comics, but they're especially a drag on this series, as its core pursuit is progress.

For all their reliance on it, the "persecution of the other" angle is almost always poorly executed.

There are too many of them.

I always thought they should use Luminus in DC, from Superman TAS. “Solar Power” is straight up one of the best episodes of that show. He just makes so much sense as a Superman villain: Supes draws his power from the sun, from light, Luminus is the master of light.
