A man-amplifier design for "Citizen one", designed with a bit more of a 20th century vibe to differentiate it from the other planets of the grobusverse - but those pesky hydraulics and other greeble were too obnoxious to draw a million times, and as such got CUT from the comic for a simpler design

Thinking about the magic of columbo, too- some fun class element there, where the no-nonsense working class cop ALWAYS takes down scheming heirs and heiress, people of station and power who presume they own the world, until columbo gets em. Havent seen an episode yet with a working class killer.

one of my favorite parts of columbo is seeing 70s celebrities- leonard nimoy, dick van dyke, johnny cash - play devious murderers
watching columbo as i work, and making a mental note- never commit a murder in front of a parrot
