Hope you can still find one!

You and Linnea Sterte are among the few comic artists who can get me to shell out on new work sight-unseen.

In other news need more bookshelves:

So the old hillbilly style makes sense in an odd way. I also knew a friend whose grandfather drank Mountain Dew/beer shandies all day every day, so there might be a few old hillbilly styles out here

One thing I like is that Mountain Dew is an oblique reference to moonshine/whiskey - it shows up in the odd old Irish song, and I think the sofa was invented to go alongside whiskey (a truly horrible thought)

Yeah I was thinking that undead soldiers would be very good for raiding and intimidating smaller neighbours, but if you had to fight a professional army, you’d have to be an incredible tactician (and figure out some very rapid adaptive command systems) to prevail

My favorite piece so far. I love the way the (ceremonial? Decorative?) teeth mesh with the eye sigils

And it does make me think, yeah, zombie cannon fodder is useful but. Not *that* useful especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. Lovely work as always

If I do make a comic out of this, I’d like to steal a few scenes directly- stuff with remote control kung fu by wizards, that sort of thing

I’m trying to slightly hide my sources- not too hard, but a little

yeah - mr vampire and "encounters of the spooky kind" are my #1 fantasy inspirations, and this setting/series is my trying to process that love

Ah those heads will stay in the family crypt/ossuary (where ideally the bones of the serving corpses will end up too, once they degrade too much to be useful) where they can be prayed to and otherwise respected

(Also lol)

Halfway between a junior necromancer and a tax collector, I think
