Protected bike lanes and bros on CitiBikes are anti-ICE urbanism
ICE Nazis in Chicago tried to kidnap a food delivery worker but my man was too fast for those slow bastards
Fair but they do demo them at events too. I wish I’d had more time to test a Carrie at Sunset Dunes during the Dogon’ Bike Ride.

You can fit a ridiculous number of pumpkins on a cargo bike 🎃
Go see @drewmcd.bsky.social at the NewWheel. I’m sure he’d love to set you up on a test ride on a Carrie!
Austin, I can’t remember if you’d had the chance to test ride my Omnium Cargo yet! Let me know if you’d like to.
I’ve had my full-size Cargo for about 14 months and I love that bike

love this! I want to add that one of the best things about starting @coyotemedia.org was getting so much great advice from fellow worker-owned news outlets. we support each other in a way I’ve never experienced in corporate news & it’s so life-affirming
If you have an extra $10 a month to spare, here's a list of worker-owned cooperative news sites you might want to support:

• 404 Media
• Defector
• The Flytrap
• Flaming Hydra
• The Appeal
• Aftermath
• Racket
• Hell Gate
• The 51st
• The Colorado Sun
• Range Media
• Discourse Blog
• Pop Heist

It’s a shame that there’s no public transit, aka the statistically safest way to move people, to any of the major Bay Area airports
One reason I like Waymo better than human ride share drivers is that robots don’t watch football while driving me to the airport.

They're not a "street safety technology", they're cars. They don't change or improve conditions for anyone outside the vehicles, they just add new variables. The only thing they do is let passengers like you pat yourselves on the back without the indignity of other people watching you do it

maybe we wouldn't be so upset about cars if they didn't kill and main so many people or pollute the environment and put microplastics in the air and destroy the economics and livability of our cities and put people in poverty over the costs and maintenance!

i wrote about navigating the splendor & contradictions of queer fandom in ballhalla for @coyotemedia.org, check out this piece! proud to be part of their launch this week.

and if you're into political/cultural/queer writing about the wnba, dive into rough notes: wnbaroughnotes.substack.com
Watch Parties, Dildos, and Equal Pay: How Queer Valkyries Fans Claim Space in the WNBA
The vibes around Ballhalla are immaculate — yet the league is still mired in misogyny and inequality. What’s a fan to do?
