As Trump again ramps up attacks on judges as biased, consider: his own appointees rule against his admin 49% of the time. Republican appointees 65%. Reporters should ask: If the judiciary is biased, why do the judges he picked keep ruling against him?

We know that safety net programs lead to more stability and prosperity, but Trump does not want that for immigrants
BREAKING: Trump is restoring a rule that penalizes lawfully present immigrants who use Medicaid, arguing that “government benefits should not incentivize immigration.”

Advocates warn the rule will cause both individual suffering & negative population-wide effects.

79-year-old Paul Bojerski was born to Polish parents in a WWII German refugee camp. His family legally emigrated to the U.S. when he was 5.

He’s been taken by ICE in Florida.

Paul Bojerski never gained official residency, but he checked in regularly with ICE for years. Then in July, at age 79, he was detained and sent to Alligator Alcatraz.

I know I shouldn't swear, it is not professorial or polite, but fucking hell this administration is beyond evil. Paul Bojerski spent 7 decades here in the US, worked as an optician, and now, at the age of 79, he has been kidnapped & placed in a US concentration camp where his health is at risk.

He was going to lose the vote anyway—and the language of the bill says DOJ can withhold files related to a current investigation, one of which he just coincidentally opened this week.
In an apparent policy shift, US president Donald Trump has called on House Republicans to vote for a bill that would force the Department of Justice to release the Epstein files.

As president, Trump could just order the Department of Justice to release the files, without needing a vote.

Do journalists really want to put their names behind the claim that palling around with someone known to be a child sex predator—to say nothing of the months-long coverup we’ve all witnessed—does not constitute “wrongdoing”? Apparently yes they do.
Kate Bolduan: "The president has not been accused of any crimes or wrongdoing as it relates to Jeffrey Epstein or these files even with these emails being released. That's one thing we need to make clear. There's no accusations of any wrongdoing so far."
