#throwbackthursday - Now that I've finished up my Warp Spider squad, here's the comparison with my brother's metal originals from the 90s.

Once again amazed how these held up banging around in a cardboard box for all those years!

Old and New: My warp spider and exarch in red, black, and white box-art-ish colors next to my brother's warp spider and exarch in some bolder blues, yellows, reds, and greens. All atop a muddy plinth in front of #jhbackdrops The full squads - 5 of mine and 4 of his, I think they used to come in blisters of 2? The backs of the exarchs to show the jump packs (and a bit of a showoff of my NMM attempt) My finished exarch from the front, now with a bit of grass on the base and the blades finished up

It's International Day of Persons with Disabilities...
It's an odd day. One side of it, its a celebration of how disabled folk have been recognised and fought for rights for equality. I'm proud we have a voice.
It's also a day to remember that Disabled people are still not living equal lives.

The roof of the first level has fencing around it and a removable communications tower on top with a lit beacon light. The architectural diagram commissioned for this project with some suggested building materials and aspirational components for evaluation by the project manager (who is also the architect)
