We hung out once when Eurogamer had a get-together for all its contributors, about ten years back, and I remember you being really kind and funny. A few of us ended up going back to yours and just chatting until the early hours and I remember thinking it was the most fun I'd had in ages.

Loads of easy potential compromises here. You could put sweaty gym kit straight in the machine, and socks/undies/anything that just needs freshening up in the basket. Get one that isn't made of wicker if that's "impossible" to clean (it isn't). Or, you know, don't leave it *10 days* between washes.

Finally caught Kurosawa's Cloud, deceptively simple, takes some big turns all the way until the final scene which makes it into something even bigger. Intrinsically about the alienation, depersonalization, and commodification of our internet-poisoned hell time without making a fuss over computers.
