I wasn't on Twitter.

I've only read snippets of lyrics from that Lily Allen album but I find it disheartening to see all these critic types coming at her for not being some sort of spokeswoman for all nonmonogamous women. She was clearly pressured into it by her ex, and I'm not sure why that can't just be.

Brain woke me up thunderously at 5am this morning with anxious thoughts about a friend who stole from me and who I haven't spoken to or seen in nearly 20 years. Then, more dread-filled thoughts about the smear campaign of lies she spread about me to cover her tracks. 20 years ago. Why am I like this

I've been creeped out by IVF since it came into the limelight and have very strong feelings about it that I usually keep to myself. This is a real ad.

Just thinking about the time an old BF and I had a fight and took a break and I looked at his Spotify the next day and he had made a playlist for a new chick and it was the same playlist he had sent me when we first started dating, just with a new title. The blessing/curse of technology.

I was never on Twitter and when Bluesky became a thing I discovered that I love this style of social network, especially the list capabilities etc. for all my nerdery and research. I love that so many smart and insightful people are here on bsky, but it's feeling like a ghost town to me, so I

Wouldn't be surprised if the chronically-online reply dictators on here started pinning announcements that all commenters must to do x, y, and z or their comments will be deleted and they will be blocked and cast off into hell or some such.

Maybe they already do, I probably have them muted.

Totally missed this. What a nightmare and violation of customer trust. I'm no fridge baller but I've been a die-hard Samsung customer for years and also used to work for them but this makes me sick to my stomach. This gives me pause on ever resuming the smartphone life.

Samsung confirms it will begin showing you advertisements on your $1,800-plus refrigerator’s screen | Fortune

Well call me a snail girl.

(also, girlboss should've died long ago for different reasons)

I've reached the era of my life where I learn about trends via articles rather than experiencing them first-hand

I curse the big tech person who came up with the term Vibe Coding. I can't believe they're all using it. Just got a notification that Google is having a Vibe Coding webinar today 🤮

Didn't care about the outage until I realized my daily workout site was affected. Such fragile infrastructure our lives depend on

Cannot believe linktree style bio sites are still a thing for people and businesses who are selling or promoting stuff online. Endless streams of homogeneous links, no organization, no branding, no direction. Sends me packing.

Ernest Cole.

One of South Africa’s first Black freelance photographers.

He never took a photo from far away. He's always within the story, both in South Africa and in America.
" I want to feel you, want to see you, and I want you to see me.”
He was a very humanistic artist.

Don't you try and push your outrage onto me. I've got plenty of my own. I just don't feel the need to spit it all over everyone 24/7.

I googled something pretty niche today, and the AI summary which I have a habit of reading quoted ME from a Reddit post I made on my throwaway account recently. It was like, "One Reddit user even said ____ and ____" but I could tell it was about me because of how specific and weird it was. Bizarre.

Really don't know why I keep posting on here. It's pretty much an online journal at this point. I expect no response to anything. An abyss.

One of my pet theories that I have not yet researched is that a high percentage of ADHD people are drawn to yoga and similar movement practices, Or maybe just crazy people in general but I do think that it can be a from of relief for the non-stop ADHD brain. (I'm both ADHD and generally crazy)
