I’ve heard 2 interesting theories about “Schisms” to explain how Riker was having sleeping issues before the rift appeared. One is that it’s just a Riker dream. The other is the aliens were already kidnapping Riker and just expanded it after Geordi’s sensor changes. #TNGSunNight
