I'm just about convinced that we should be showing recreations of real car accidents in BeamNG instead of traditional "safety videos" and PSAs in Driver's Ed classes.
Seeing that kind of carnage from multiple angles might just be what some people need to take driving seriously.

Well that last thread certainly took a turn from personal experience to beleaguered technophilosophy. Kind of a bummer really, bringing the whole mood down in here. Feel free to read it but with a grain of salt. Sometimes I write stuff just to get thoughts out of my head, and that's all there is.

Ditching Microsoft was relatively easy, almost painless, even, despite a few minor bumps. Ditching Google? Now that's going to be the tough part for me. Like a lot of folks I've been using multiple services of theirs for more than a decade now to the point that they're second nature. (1/15)

The way I’ve tried to encourage friends to keep creating is that you still get the “experience points” even if you don’t finish or never post what you made. You did the action, now you’ve got more EXP. That’s how it works. You don’t have to “cash it in”; you just get experience from doing things.

So I started playing Alien: Isolation going in blind (haven't even seen the movies, I know) and idk what it is but it took me so long to figure out the most basic stuff in what is effectively the tutorial that I know I'm cooked now that the titular Alien has finally shown up lmao.

A couple days ago, I fled home.
I have been dealing with a very difficult living situation due to my parents being emotionally abusive.
This Sunday was a breaking point for me and I couldn’t take it anymore. On Monday, I discretely packed my bags, computer, and left.
