I know right now people are like "well ICE is thin on agents and moral is low and yadda yadda" but like what happens when they pay more recruits, and recruit people from outside the US? We know they're getting funds from outside sources.

I am not advocating for any particular action here I'm just saying that when our judicial system said "you can't do that" and Republicans asked "who's gonna stop me?", and Dems just shrugged and said "this document I guess?", well, you can just turn on the news and see how thats playing out

It's like when you have a bunch of trucks driving on your roads, tearing them up and you can't stop them, so you set up a toll booth and start charging them money for it. Now you can use the money to repair the roads and maybe even add some much needed infrastructure upgrades later on.

The only concern to me is if an immigrant entering our country is being given the proper resources and help to live here, work here, and benefit from whatever community they are living in.

Ok but like I've also walked into tire centers not having this info on hand but instead of asking AI, the mechanic is just like "oh lemme look at your car for you and get that info" because he's the one who knows this stuff better than me.

I also learned that there's an actual reason this strip came about. In my lifetime, cafes went from only serving large vats of black coffee to being able to serve a variety of coffee thanks to the invention of the Clover machine, which is now replaced by a $6 V60

And it's cute that MN thinks they can do these school or economic walkouts in protest but what's that actually gonna do? Stopping work or school isn't gonna defund and stop ICE. It certainly won't pressure Dems to do something. They're still getting paid, both ICE and Dems.
