You ever think about how conscious time is basically the most valuable thing we have and it’s been commodified for us to labor for other people’s benefit and all the objects around the world are the embodiment of people’s lives spent on this process :)

Apparently the decision of the WI to rescind trans inclusion was prompted in part by an internal faction. If I were a cis member of the WI, I would want those bigots named,shamed and shunned.

Of course, British institutions (esp. the media) have never needed much encouragement to embrace fascism. It's just very strange that an *overseas* election was the trigger for going full-throttle. Almost as if the UK isn't really ruled from London, but from Washington. Almost.

In this instance, the court abandoned its traditionally cautious role and acted in an activist manner, it was, in effect, no longer applying the law.
I wonder if the UK Supreme Court Judges were really both so legally inept that they thought the Equality Act 2010 implicitly overruled the Gender Recognition Act 2005, and so politically inept that they didn't foresee a slew of cases giving the lie to their claim it wasn't a victory for either side.
