Huge variety of choice of Chinese cuisines! World class sushi. An almost paralyzing richness of choice of breakfast restaurants.

It's a good thing I've been putting in 10k to 20k steps every day, because I want to eat all the things.

Fun things: Getting actual cream with coffee. Being asked the level of doneness I want for poached eggs. Hollandaise that isn't stone cold. So much smiling.

These are more Canada things than Vancouver per se, but still enjoying immensely.

The things I notice most, coming back to Vancouver (4 years since my last visit): so LOUD. Sirens throughout the day, noisy af trucks of all kinds. Also, all of downtown reeks of pot constantly.

Still, it's great to come back to visit friends and family.

Yikes, this is awful. I'm so sorry you're going through this.

I'm a complex medical case too, and while I have reasonable care at the moment, it's so frustrating and demoralizing, especially the endless explanations to new medical personnel.

I hope your situation improves soon.
