I had some puff pastry to use up after making sausage rolls for a party, so I used it to wrap up some salmon filets for dinner. Yoghurt sauce not shown. 🍜🍽️

Anyway, the strand of freshly chomped barley grass definitely elevates the water bowl.

Doorbell rang while I was working, and...it was the postman. With a package. For me. That DIDN'T get left in the back of the truck in favour of a card telling me I wasn't home and therefore would have to go fetch it myself.

Dutch baby breakfast for the win! This one gained good height and colour, I think, and has a delicious topping of diced Polish sausage (Krucha z galaretką), diced cheddar, and green onion. 🍽️🍜

This is oddly not discussed in the media and it should be. It’s dangerous.
These forced-birth videos, their amplification, and their timing follow a tested strategy designed to attack third-trimester abortion to soften the ground for harmful abortion restrictions. Forced-birth groups aren't subtle, and they aren't original. If Canadians don't recognize what's happening, they will sleepwalk into the same nightmare the United States is living. The antidote is vigilance and unapologetic clarity. Abortion is health care, and it is a human right. Pay attention, don't spread forced-birth propaganda, and speak up, which includes defending third-trimester abortions. And in Alberta, that also means working on recalling UCP MLAs (14 are now facing recall petitions). This is the moment to bolt the door before it has a chance to crack open.

My chicken pot pie filling has broken out of containment. 🍜🍽️

The topping for the pie is biscuit, cut into four pieces fitted onto the top of the dish. The filling has bubbled up in between the biscuits, pushing them apart a little, and over the edges of the dish onto the tray below.

I see some book piracy discourse, and, to make a positive argument in favor of buying books, your marginal ability to influence what books get published and support the careers of writers you like is massive compared to most other forms of media.
