(Well I mean, if we still have to live under capitalism. I don't even really believe in money, but we'll go there another time.)
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

have you ever dreamed that you're an animal or a mythical creature?

I feel like I read about these dreams in books, but I've never actually had one. I do dream about other things people say are common ... flying, being chased, school/exam dreams (still! after all this time! WHY)

random thing that delights me: the many accounts on bluesky where middle-aged people post pics of their dog + all of the tweets are from the pov of the dog, in the dog's "words." it's not roleplaying, exactly, but also, it's not-NOT roleplaying. roleplaying supremacy!! everyone roleplays, in the end

I torrent all of my tv and refuse to subscribe to any streaming services because barely any of the money goes to the artists. instead, I take the $$$ equivalent of 3-4 streaming subscription costs every month and spend it on indie creators through a combo of Bandcamp, itch.io, and Patreon
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

books for adults should learn this from middle grade fiction: all books ought to have illustrations. people are delighted by illustrations
Tell me your most unhinged literary opinion, as a little treat

I am very into Wallace & Gromit lately, & have also been watching the old Shaun the Sheep morning cartoon for kids. claymation is amazing! I want to shrink myself down and live inside a claymation world. it's too bad that I was put off of it for years and years due to extremely silly reasons ++

kpop demon hunters: another excellent entry in the canon of films directed by Asian millennial diaspora on a theme very dear to my heart 💗 the theme of: "your Asian parents didn't let you have emotions when you were a kid" +++

today my phone glitched and closed every single one of the 474 tabs I had open in Safari. (all of which were Very Important, of course, and which I ... definitely would have gotten to ... eventually.) after a brief moment of panic I felt a sense of relief and utter freedom

Discovering computer as an adult makes you go crazy. Discovering computer as a baby makes you go crazy. In all of human history, there will only ever be one generation to discover computer at the correct age: 13
The problem with every post-Millennial generation is they got to go straight to high speed internet. Of course you'll get computer madness that way. Make them start with those old screeching modems and work their way up

one of the things I like best in fiction is simply when characters the readers like are allowed to dislike each other and do not ever have to learn better about it. all of my fictional friends do not have to be friends. in fact sometimes it is better when they are enemies, for petty reasons

a few years ago I realized, I can just skip over book introductions. no one can stop me and I don't have to feel guilty about it! I have not read a single book introduction since, and I am truly free. +
