True story: when I visited Rhodes, Greece as a kid in the mid 80's, the most ubiquitous tourist souvenir was a t-shirt with two pigs fucking that said "Makin' Bacon" on top, with "Rhodos" printed below.
In the 2000s you could wear a t-shirt that said Dalai Parton with a picture of her meditating and people would be like "that is the funniest thing I've ever seen in my life."
