Ahh berserker league memories where aesthetics DID matter.
brackets should be chosen based on pleasing aesthetics, is what I'm saying.

I'm lucky enough my best friend. At 8 is still my best friend at 46
“I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was 12. Jesus, does anyone?"
One of the best movies.

South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut was a packed theater, that was amazing.

Disturbing Behavior, also a packed theater everyone was waiting for Harvey Danger's flagpole sitta, when it hit the crowd went fucking wild and then it stopped after approximately 9 seconds and everyone booed loud as fuck.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Olivia Coleman, The Roses.
This is a fun question—best “serious” actor in a comedic role of the last decade?
It’s so much easier for comic actors to do drama than vice versa. Look at Jim Carrey in Eternal Sunshine or Truman Show, and then look at De Niro’s comedies, they’re terrible

And February was our THIRD time filing with the legislature, after intensive legislative process & negotiations throughout 2024.
Stunned by how dishonest senators like Senate President Karen Spilka and Senator Nick Collins are being about Mayor Michelle Wu's tax shift home rule petition.

It was filed in February. They ignored it. No right to complain that it's a brand new ask. #mapoli

Yes, yes, a million times yes, and we can't let Breslow spin it otherwise.
If the Red Sox sign Bregman, it does not count as adding a bat. It counts as retaining one. Status quo rather than an improvement. It has to be Bregman and someone else.

I wish he were a bigger impact free agent so his signing would lead to Finnegan's Wake.

omg. Kat Abughazaleh just posted that if she's elected, she'll swear in on a copy of Octavia Butler's Parable of the Sower.

If you were elected to public office (never mind whether you'd ever actually run), what book would you swear in on?

David Wright's mother is a voter?!?
Ballot #5 is from a voter who wishes to remain anonymous. As a refresher, we are unable to report adds or drops, if any, on anonymous ballots.

This is the first ever known David Wright-only ballot. There will not be a unanimous inductee this year.

And if we crash and it's a LOST scenario, I'm gonna feel alot better surviving in comfy sweats than navigating survival in a suit.

People show me giraffes every day and I recognize them every time at a level we've never seen. It's amazing, and the experts, who are smart guys and even sometimes a smart gal, say they've never seen anything like it. Nobody recognized giraffes until I came along. Nobody was talking about giraffes.
