This is the problem with this God-forsaken "we're salting the earth to punish the terrorists" BS: it makes the terrorists stronger, because you've trashed the infrastructure, murdered the journalists and frozen out the politicians.
There's no one else left and the only resource is mutual hatred.

If you've never been to Gaza, you won't appreciate what the yellow line means. Basically Israel now holds most of Gaza's small but important agricultural land. Continued Israeli occupation, which I judge the likely outcome, makes Gaza even more unliveable and more dependent on outside goods.
