Got 2 guinea pigs and a lot of thoughts with no place to put them... Live in Aus. She/they
Pinned
G'd evening from the piggies! They don't like eating from the same bowl even if it is big enough for both of them 😂

Toad walked faster. Many drops of melting ice cream flew through the air. They fell down on Toad’s head. “I must hurry back to Frog!” he cried.

The thing I miss the most about 90s/00s Internet is the idea of 'cyberspace'. A location on the Internet being a 'space' that is worth decorating, it has a culture. Like a bar that anyone can visit but it has its own personality created by both the owners and via regular patrons who go there.

How Wiradjuri constellations like the Great Celestial Emu make us look at the sky in a different way - ABC News share.google/b9lBSnCCR3rZ...
Cool stuff!
Greek astronomy is ancient; this Wiradjuri knowledge is far older
All 88 internationally recognised constellations have European origins. But First Nations astronomy tells older, beautiful stories that contain invaluable lessons and knowledge.

I'm subscribed to Ground news... and I don't necessarily regret it because it's better than using google... but some people sell it as being this "place you can trust" because it has stats like "bias" and "factuality"...
While the bias is... interesting I don't think the "factuality" lable is sound.

Mangroves act as sinks for ocean plastic pollution, physically trapping it in their complex root systems. While this prevents plastic from spreading further into the open ocean, accumulation harms the mangroves and wildlife within. #WetTribe #TidetotheOcean #MangroveMonday #Plastic

The reason Roboute Guilliman is such a beloved character among the Middle Aged section of the 40k fanbase is basically that he has depression from realising this is true but not quite having enough effective power to make it happen.

One of my weirdest core memories (weird as in why did it affect me so much??) was when my mum wrote up a time table for our school mornings.
I remember looking at the black board and feeling like everything suddenly made sense. Just an instant feeling of eureka.

This Thanksgiving we are so grateful that we get to know turkeys in ways that most people don't. Here are ten awesome things we love about turkeys! 🦃

1. Their gorgeous plumage. Most people think turkeys are just "brown" but their feathers have beautiful patterns, colors, and iridescence!
