Y'all the latest episode of the #Kilauea #eruption just went CRAZY. It looks like pressure built up enough to explode out the ground around the two existing vents (first few seconds), leading to a massive surge in lava fountaining.🌋🤯

mural of a black and white tuxedo cat taking up the whole end wall of an apartment building At 34‑35 Rugiańska Street in Szczecin, a new mural has been created honouring the legendary cat Gacek – a black and white icon of the city. The artwork was created using photocatalytic paints which, under sunlight, help purify the air. For years Gacek lived near Kaszubska Street, where a dedicated wooden shelter stood and where he became a beloved figure among residents, tourists and the media alike. In 2023, due to health concerns, he was brought into care and found a home. The Gacek mural is a one-of-a-kind initiative in Poland – no other city has created a piece of street art that both honours a local animal celebrity and actively contributes to environmental protection. I, a well known idiot, have just phoned the National Grid because my electric was off.

Turns out one of the fuses in my fuse box has a switch that doesn't look like a switch.

I also only noticed the electric was off when the light in the fridge wasn't working.
